In my study I examine such phenomenons as popular and mass culture. The majority of modern culturists mark out popular and mass culture. In my opinion, in the modern conditions such a pared-down conception must be changed.It\'s connected to the rapid development of the mass media, having closer access to the elite art and the key role of culture synthesis. As a result I suggest a new grading of cultural matters.
