This paper presents underground opening and development works in the “Ćelije” deposit, which will, in the shortest time possible, enable starting excavation works in the "Ćelije" mine.
Opening and development, according to the mining and geological conditions in the “Ćelije” deposit and with strictly respecting the safety measurements, are most important for starting and, therefore, stabilizing of the planned calcite production.
Due to achieve planned underground rooms production, diesel-powered LHD machines will be engaged, by which production process will be completely compliant with modern trends in mining industry .
