The paper presents the results of remote sensing of methane and carbon dioxide using a publicly available platform that enables remote data collection. The paper presents the use of the platform and the way in which data on methane and other carbon compounds are presented clearly and easily accessible to the public. Data were analyzed for several active plants that emit the aforementioned methane and other carbon compounds in complex process systems. Remote sensing can also be used to monitor climate change.
