AN ANALYSIS OF LUBRICATION REGIME BETWEEN THE CONTACT ELEMENTS OF CYCLOID REDUCER

The paper contains a theoretical analysis of the lubrication regime between the housing rollers and pins, as well as the output mechanism rollers and pins. Analytical expressions for the calculation of the forces, speeds, minimum of oil film thickness and lubrication regime are implemented in the procedure made in the software package MATLAB. It was found that there is an unfavorable zone between housing roller and pin during the contact period, when boundary lubrication regime occurs. Between output mechanism rollers and pins, lubrication regime is constant and stabile, but mostly in the zone of mixed lubrication regime.
