This paper covers theoretical and conceptual explanation of cloud computing with their related accessible services and future possibilities mainly using in biomedical investigation. Today, it is evident, there is a trend of increasing application of cloud computing. As a result of that, aim of this paper is to point out advantages and disadvantages of cloud computing, in relation to the previous defined two important case studies used in biomedical investigation, such as: biomechanical engineering and development of clinical biomaterials. These case studies are of great interest to the people who are involved in the field of medical engineering, where we can mention different types i.e. cardiac, dental and other biomaterials. At the same time, this paper provides an explanation of what are possible obstacles if someone decides to use cloud computing technology when reasearch and develop things in biomedical engineering. Related possible benefits, activities and costs in process of involving and exploring of cloud computing technology as a part of Internet of things will be given. From this point of view, these solutions will be elaborated according to the results obtained during investigation. As a result, some important detail of proposed case studies will be defined with recommendation to migrate today’s desktop biomedical investigation and applications to the webtop applications such as using cloud computing technology.
