Considering the fact that many of the countries are passing thought transitional period the leaders of development should be small and medium sized enterprises. This paper will include the meaning and the role of different forms of financial support for SME in start-up phases in function of processes of overcoming the causes of transition and recovering the competition, entrepreneurship and increasing the economy efficiency. In the end is the conclusion made to get information for perspectives and odds of financing the small and medium sized business in Republic of Macedonia
