For farmers, protecting their crops is the most important goal. Many of them have already seen their crops wither for the second or third time because there was too much sun and too little water in the summer. That’s why the shading provided by an Agri PV system is the most important argument. The innovative Agri PV intelligently combines agriculture with renewable power generation. Solar modules are installed above and between agricultural land to generate electricity so that it can continue to be farmed profitably. A real win-win situation that not only benefits the climate and security of supply, but also farmers: The "double harvest" enables income diversification and thus contributes to the sustainable strengthening of agricultural businesses and rural areas.
