Abstract: Application of new environmental materials and technologies in building construction indicates new tendencies of formation of biomorphic physical structures in cities. In this paper, the authors’ focus is organic-metabolic, continuous-visionary development of micro and macro spatial ambient entities in which new cultural forms of living and communication among users are being created. What is accented are newly constructed, multi-storey towers of dynamic, non-stereotypical forms, in which a very close relation to the natural resources and materials where the designers based their specific designing-engineering ideas on the creation of flexible vertical socio-cultural communities. The examples in the paper represent homomorphic concepts of sustainable building with innovated geometrical forms of layouts where the structural compositions bring about new intelligent concepts with very pronounced vegetative facade skins – multi layered membranes. Apart from the esthetic, they have a microclimatic-energetic and important spatial-regulation detoxication function. “Smart” ecourbarchitectonic considerations are directing us to different city-building characteristics of engineering processes and activities, in which participation of artefact materials will not be dominant, but rather synthetic-creative interpolation of new sustainable technologies with natural, environmental materials being their integral parts. Generally speaking, this distinctly philosophy of building houses, as soon as tomorrow, will be founded on a significantly increased presence of bionic and biomimetic ecotechnologies and contemporary materials.
