The use and rapid development of robots in modernization of production processes in any industry represents continuation of improvement of technical solutions in the field of technological processes automation. These machines are faster, more powerful and more accurate than humans, and therefore greatly enhance the scope and quality of production. Robots are still not perfect and can not completely replace humans. This paper shows in whicih way the safe use of robots is performed, with regard to the integration and application of modern technologies, viewed through a functional security and software-defined boundaries of the robot movement.
