Influence of implant on the surrounding bone under loading, is considered to be one of the most important characteristics when determining success of surgical treatment. Two different dental implants are placed into the polymethyl-methacrylate bone block model, in vertical position. Measured surface was then sprayed with layer of white paint, and stochastic pattern of black dots was added afterwards. Implant surface and block were fully bonded along the entire interface. Axial force was applied on dental implant with universal testing machine Tinius Olsen, up to 500 N. Deformations on the outer surface of the PMMA block were recorded using digital image correlation method (GOM). Displacements from the surface of the PMMA bone block models of different implants are analyzed and discussed.
