Cutting forces is very important indicator of machining process. Knowledge
about values and behavior of cutting forces has significant role in machining process
defining (defining of material machinability, tool wear, vibrations, temperature in cutting
zone, accuracy of process, dimensioning ofmachine elements, modeling, monitoring
and management of machining process). Modeling of cutting forces is relative difficult
due to a number of influenced factors and unknowing of interaction between them.
Cutting force modeling in turning of hard alloy steel was realized based on experiments
with different input parameters. Experimental research, result analyses, modeling with
application of artificial neural networks and regression analyze was performed.
