The Internet, Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and digital technologies are responsible for creating a new economy based on knowledge, creativity, information sharing and the use of these technologies for the development and marketing of new products and services. The Internet supports the development of new forms of organizations without borders, which do not depend on time and location. These changes stimulate globalization, and the application of these technologies is a prerequisite for successful international business. The aim of this paper is to look at the current way of doing business of most business systems through a theoretical analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of using the Internet and ICT, and thus point out the potential opportunities for further business improvement.
