Vehicle suspension system ensures stability, safety and comfort during cornering and riding over uneven surfaces. Its role is to provide a flexible connection between the vehicle structure and the axle with wheels. Modern methods of design of suspension system and its components involve the use of a software packages. Application of a software package for modeling the kinematic ratio of McPherson suspension system is presented in this paper. The advantage of using this package is that the final results can be obtained directly and the influence of individual geometrical parameters on suspension kinematic ratio can be analyzed. In addition, another advantage is that any change of the external parameters results in automatic change of the model.
