In 2001, we celebrated the 30th anniversary of the Faculty, now focusing on the philosophical and philological disciplines, with an addition of the Department of the Arts, which in 2003 also became an independent institution. After this last structural change, the Faculty of Philosophy has ten departments, all related to the principal fi eld associated with this type of institutions.
The Faculty of Philosophy thus hosts the following departments: Philosophy, History, Sociology, Psychology, Education, Serbian Language, Serbian and Comparative Literature, English Language and Literature, Russian Language and Literature, Journalism, and the Foreign Language Centre.

The faculty has 190 full-time employees, while the number of students is close to 3000.
