Rotary dryer in which the drying is performed by the rotary movement of the drying rack with hot air flowing over them represents an innovative technical solution. Counterflow movement of the rotor with drying racks through a flow of hot air allows higher intensity of drying. A detailed CFD analysis was made to get a clearer picture about the phenomen of flow between the drying racks and the impact of each structure component on the fluid flow through the rotary dryer.
