In regular daily ophthalmology practice we meet all kinds of eye pathology and some of them cause many dilemmas in proposing the right diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. Ophthalmology exams now days offer all kinds of morphological evaluations of eye parts, but only few of them to value the functional capacity of the eye and optic nerve. This paper is written in order to show functional benefit of electrophysiology exams in ophthalmology through theory and case presentation. Even though electrophysiology is an old technic now with improved modalities, software and protocols can be very easy used even in children so it offer a quick and easy to read results for the first exam and follow-ups.
