Hotel Bistrica is located 12 kilometers from Pale, and 28 kilometers from Sarajevo. The hotel is connected with these two cities with newly constructed and reconstructed roads.

This hotel was built for the XIV Olympic Winter Games in 1984 and it was categorized with three stars. There are 152 rooms in the hotel and eight suits for a total of 320 primary and 80 additional beds. The structure of rooms is different (single, double, double with extra bed) and all rooms have private bathroom, TV, satellite TV, and direct dial phone.
