In this paper is for a magnetic separator with eddy current, thoroughly worked out a mathematical model for the optimization of the characteristic parameters in the separation of aluminum from concentrate. In this as influential parameters were taken: belt speed, the strength of the magnetic field and the size of granules model that stands out (Al), while for the optimization plan implemented multifactor second order experiment as a cost-effective and efficient plan. The optimal values of the parameters obtained by the method of mathematical analysis where as function optimization adopted the maximum amount of separated metal for a certain period of time. The adequacy and accuracy of the model is verified by modern methods of mathematical statistics. It is shown that the optimal parameter values are within the space constraints and limited functions to their limits.
