Materials used to produce removable dentures should be adequate to meet the mechanical and physical requirements, to be biocompatible, easy to produce, and comfortable to use.The conventional way of making implies using methyl methacrylate-based materials and Co-Cr-Mb alloys.Metal alloys or monomers in resins can lead to unwanted allergic reactions in susceptible persons, which are manifested as heat effects, metallic taste or galvanic pain (shock). The material from the group of polymers is non-allergogenic BioDentaplast material, company "Bredent".Chemically it is a polycrystalline thermoplastic material with linear structure.Shows good physical and chemical properties: high hardness and rigidity, resistance to cracking during stress and high dimensional stability.Used to create partial denture with movable hooks. The material has an opaque colour, which prevents sifting through the dark parts of the object and tooth-colored layer thickness of only 0.3 mm.The process of preparation of the material is carried out at a temperature of 200°C and at a pressure of 7.3 bar, which reduces shrinkage, ensures dimensional accuracy and precision of dental restorations. The smooth surface of the molded object prevents the adhesion of dental plaque. The aim of this paper is to present a comparative review of mechanical, physical and chemical properties of BioDentaplast and metal alloys in making partial dentures, and subjected to comparative clinical demonstration of the application of both types of materials. In a relatively short clinical practice of five years BioDentaplast showed all positive characteristics of the material in which allergic reactions did not appear.
