Susan Marlow is Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Business School at the University of Nottingham.

She is Editor of the International Small Business Journal (ISBJ).

Prof Marlow’s research interests lie in the broad area of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial behaviours with a particular focus upon the influence of gender upon entrepreneuring, high technology business incubation, identity work and business closure/failure; this work has been published extensively in a range of peer reviewed UK and North American Journals. She has worked with a number of private and public sector organisations to research and advise upon small firm issues. In 2011 she was recognised for your work by a Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion.
